Warehouse Manager

Working at Nth Degree, we craft experiences that help build stronger brands. Due to massive growth, we are looking to add a Warehouse Manager to our KC Operations team. This role plays a critical part in preparing custom tradeshow exhibits and maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment. You will report directly to the Director of Exhibits, Sponsors and Expositions and be based out of our Kansas City warehouse. Position requires being onsite full time.

About the role

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading warehouse operations through inventory quality control, material handling, and fabrication or repair of exhibit and shipping components. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a clear understanding of inventory management, and the ability to implement best practices to improve warehouse operations. This position will manage a team of current warehouse employees.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all daily warehouse functions including receiving, put-away, storage, pick-and-pack, outbound shipping, and returns processing
• Set daily priorities, assign labor, and manage workflow to meet client needs and shipping deadlines
• Lead and train warehouse staff to promote a high-performance culture
• Monitor weekly time tracking of team members for accuracy
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized facility compliant with OSHA standards and company policies
• Perform quality control inspections of inventory to ensure accuracy, condition, and readiness for use
• Lead mock setups for shows as needed, which will involve construction/assembly of modular booth properties (e.g., beMatrix, flex frame)
• Collaborate with the Production Manager on any issues and help provide solutions and recommendations prior to packing
• Accurately complete and maintain legible inventory records, work orders, and other required documentation
• Utilize our ExhibitForce platform for inventory management and reviewing client orders; responsible for data accuracy, audits, and reporting functions
• Use department technology platforms (i.e. SharePoint, Excel, Teams) for department assignments and communications
• Develop professional working relationships with team, customer base, and vendors
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline logistics and supply chain functions
• Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to resolve issues and improve delivery times
• Support customer requests as assigned
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role
• Proven track record of managing warehouse operations effectively
• Strong understanding of inventory control and logistics procedures
• Experience in managing a team and driving performance
• Familiarity with modular exhibit systems (e.g., beMatrix, flex frame) is a plus
• Basic carpentry, fabrication, or repair skills preferred
• Experience in determining freight needs for shipments and scheduling transports through 3rd party vendors (ground and air)
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage multiple tasks
• Manage customer expectations and requests; be solutions oriented
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Adapt to constant change, be flexible
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand / be on feet for extended periods of time
• Reliable attendance and flexible availability
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft SharePoint, Excel, and Teams
• Experience working in ExhibitForce or similar inventory system is a plus
• Experience in managing and updating a warehouse database
• Possess a Missouri Class E driver’s license or higher, or be willing to obtain one
• Forklift certification is a plus

Pay

Salary is $80,000–90,000.
