Warehouse Manager

The Feed is the largest online marketplace for athletes seeking the best in sports nutrition, fueling strategies, and performance supplements. We partner with elite and everyday endurance athletes to bring trusted products, education, and community to life. As we expand our fulfillment footprint, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead our Allentown, PA warehouse operations.

About the role

The Warehouse Manager will oversee Receive (Inbound) and Fulfillment (Outbound) operations, focusing on safety, quality, and productivity. This role manages salaried and hourly associates, setting clear expectations, managing performance, and driving successful outcomes. As a hands-on leader, this position will actively support day-to-day operations on the warehouse floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead a workforce of associates in e-commerce fulfillment operations (Receiving, Pick/Pack, and Outbound), setting clear goals and expectations to measure performance.
• Develop weekly staffing schedules based on daily capacity needs and participate in weekly reviews of marketing initiatives.
• Own hiring, performance management, promotions, and terminations.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance warehouse efficiency, partnering with Development, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to implement and refine new technologies and automation solutions.
• Manage inventory accurately using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory planning/forecasting software.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and materials, monitor non-inventory supplies, and plan orders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments including Customer Service, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, Human Resources, Safety, Training and Development, and Marketing to meet business objectives.
• Provide clear status updates, insights, and recommendations to leaders and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

• Work both weekend days and some holidays.
• Frequently lift up to 49 pounds; push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours).
• Work in an environment with variable noise levels and temperatures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience directly managing teams in fulfillment, warehousing, and/or manufacturing operations.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Able to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
• Self-starter who takes ownership and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a team of 20+ employees.
• Experience launching a new warehouse facility or facilitating warehouse relocation/construction activities.
• Experience in maintenance of material handling equipment, machinery, or robotics.
• Experience with OSHA, 5S, and other warehouse safety/organization guidelines.
• Experience using data and metrics to identify business opportunities and drive improvements.
• Experience working with automated warehouse solutions and/or robotics.
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.

Pay

Salary target based on market, annually, depending on experience.
