Warehouse Manager

About the role

The Warehouse Manager oversees the branch warehouse operational functions related to shipping, delivery, receiving, inventory control, product transfer, merchandising, and merchandise will call. This role is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product at all times.

Responsibilities

• Maintains warehouse organization, cleanliness, and accurate product placement according to system records.
• Ensures all shelving and product locations are correctly labeled and consistently maintained.
• Conducts timely monthly facility inspections and performs basic building maintenance as directed.
• Monitors vehicle routing and delivery performance using tracking technology.
• Communicates facility or operational issues to management and corporate personnel.
• Participates in branch walkthroughs with corporate staff as required.
• Supervises branch staff, ensuring proper coverage, performance, and adherence to schedules.
• Leads performance management activities including coaching, reviews, and disciplinary actions in partnership with HR.
• Fosters a positive, communicative work environment through consistent leadership.
