Warehouse Manager

The Warehouse Manager will report to the Plant Manager and is responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities and personnel at the Houston plant and an off‑site warehouse to support safe and efficient manufacturing and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Fully support facility safety programs and actively contribute to continuous improvement of safety performance.
• Ensure OSHA requirements are met in warehouse areas and promote safe practices throughout the facility.
• Manage plant systems to maximize employee safety and minimize environmental risk, complying with all applicable environmental regulations and assisting the EHS team.
• Oversee warehouse operations, including all shipping and receiving activities, tracking shipments and returns, and liaising with customers and suppliers as necessary.
• Supervise and provide leadership to a team of six or more employees.
• Manage plant inventory and lead full physical inventory as well as cycle‑count processes.
• Provide logistics and scheduling support as needed.
• Maintain and improve SAP transactional accuracy for warehousing processes (inventory accuracy, days on hand, on‑time shipments, cycle counts, etc.) to ensure effective operation.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotation using good warehousing practices.
• Identify obsolete stock and manage the obsolescence process, including removal and disposal.
• Plan maintenance for warehouse areas to anticipate business needs.
• Monitor performance of freight carriers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Science, or Planning.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a warehousing environment.
• Prior contribution to inventory control practices.
• Proficiency with SAP.
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to provide leadership that establishes clear courses of action for safe, efficient, and effective work completion.
• Advanced strategic, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities with attention to detail.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $95,000 – $125,000, based on education, experience, certifications, and geographic location. H.B.
