Job Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment through regular inspections and training.
- Manage the receiving, warehousing, distribution/shipping, and maintenance operations to ensure efficient processes.
- Supervise and lead Warehouse and Shipping Supervisors, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
- Plan and coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of FGs, optimizing warehouse layout and workflow for maximum productivity.
- Ensure all Production SO’s and FGs are reviewed daily to cover demands as appropriate and prioritize.
- Identify and communicate HR issues, including available labor capacity or labor needs to the HR Manager.
- Manage the Quality Process and ensure all non-conforming material is segregated and removed from inventory quickly and appropriately.
- Maintain a 99%+ Inventory Record Accuracy standard to support inventory integrity and minimize the need for annual physical inventories.
- Lead and Conduct Physical Inventory at prescribed intervals partnership with Finance Team.
- Identify and Communicate Facility Issues to Supervisor.
- Identify and Communicate Capital Needs to Supervisor.
- Maintain 98%+ On-Time Delivery performance based on the timely processing and fulfillment of pick lists/tickets released to the warehouse.
Requirements
- 4+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities to motivate and guide staff effectively.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle various aspects of warehouse operations simultaneously.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory software.
- Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices and logistics.
- Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational ERP Systems.
- Experience in Medical Device Industry is a plus.
