About the role
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and shipping of products. Key responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and adhering to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
- Manage and train warehouse staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols to prevent accidents and theft.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required for occasional deliveries.
- Experience with warehouse management software such as WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and compliance.
