The Person
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Experience managing facilities, building maintenance activities, and vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory movement, and safety compliance practices.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or industry certifications preferred.
The Job
- Oversee daily warehouse and facility operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and organization.
- Serve as the primary contact for building owners, property managers, landlords, and facility-related concerns.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors including maintenance, HVAC, security, waste management, dock door, and equipment service providers.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility, equipment, storage areas, racking systems, and safety equipment.
- Lead warehouse staff through coaching, development, scheduling, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and lead safety meetings, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Partner with Operations, Logistics Coordinators, and Project Teams to support project execution and customer needs.
- Maintain facility records, inspections, vendor documentation, and operational reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, safety, and service levels.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or industry certifications preferred.
