Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all inbound receiving, including unloading, inspection, verification against POs, and accurate system receipt.
- Manage all outbound shipping, including order staging, packing, documentation, labeling, and carrier handoff.
- Ensure shipping/receiving documentation (packing slips, BOLs, ASNs, customs paperwork) is accurate and complete.
- Resolve receiving discrepancies, damaged shipments, and shipping errors.
Warehouse Management & Operations
- Maintain and improve materials/warehouse locations and organization, both physical and virtual within Epicor.
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, staging, and dispatch.
- Drive efficient parts picking and order staging processes.
- Manage the movement of materials to and from Production to keep the line supplied and avoid disruption.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency, and ensure proper handling, storage, and preservation of goods.
- Inventory control.
Team Development & Flexibility
- Develop a well cross-trained team able to support changes in daily demand flowing from Customers to Production.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise shipping/receiving, warehouse, and logistics staff, building depth across roles so coverage flexes with workload.
- Set performance targets, conduct reviews, and foster a safety-first culture.
Qualifications and Skills
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or materials management experience including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Working knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control practices, shipping documentation, including customs requirements.
- Knowledge of health & safety and transport regulations, including but not limited to forklift operations, material handling practices, and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Forklift/equipment certification required or ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of process improvement.
