Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement warehouse best practices and safety regulations for headquarters
- Manage all daily warehouse operations including but not limited to receiving, inventory control and management, order management, picking, packing, shipping, and returns
- Auxiliary in the successful integration of add-on warehouses
- Manage warehouse associates monitoring work performance, order accuracy, establishing KPIs, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
- Establish, implement, and maintain warehouse best practices, operating procedures, safety standards, and efficient workflows to support operational excellence and scalability
- Manage reporting, inventory, and replenishment levels using the WMS to ensure KPIs and order accuracy levels are achieved
- Investigate and resolve issues that may arise in the daily workflow including but not limited to inventory discrepancies, order issues, receiving, shipping/tracking issues, staffing shortages, and other workflow challenges
- Collaborate and work with the Fulfillment Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of fulfillment projects, inventory movement, receiving, and deadlines according to client SLAs
- Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with the Leadership team and hold the team accountable to these goals
- Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees’ performance and the ongoing coaching of employees
- Successfully onboard and train new employees, fostering a seamless transition into their roles
- Lead warehouse projects from planning through execution, effectively managing timelines and resources to ensure successful implementation and operational efficiency
- Communicate with all departments (sales, operations, finance, e-comm) to ensure products and procedures are handled according to the statement of work executed by each customer
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience
- Experience managing a warehouse that has grown from a small to large operation
- Computer skills: email, CRM Tool, e-commerce platforms, WMS inventory management, Outlook based applications
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift and carry items at least 50lbs
- Able to stand, kneel, bend at knees, squat throughout the day
- Must be able to work in high temperature environment in summer months as the warehouse is not air conditioned
Pay
Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000
