Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, storage, and fulfillment orders.
- Work with ERP Implementation department to develop and implement warehouse procedures to improve productivity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Cook with receiving documentation, inspect incoming materials, and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing slips, and export paperwork are completed accurately.
- Manage inventory levels to support manufacturing demands while minimizing excess inventory.
- Notify purchasing department for any low stock items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP/MRP system.
- Lead cycle count programs and annual physical inventories.
- Oversee order fulfillment activities to ensure on-time and accurate customer shipments.
- Cook with manufacturing, purchasing, customer service, and sales teams to prioritize orders and meet customer expectations.
- Monitor fulfillment performance and implement improvements to reduce errors and improve delivery performance.
Qualification / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 8+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience in OEM manufacturing strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and fulfillment operations.
- Knowledge of manufacturing material flow and production support requirements.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and warehouse reporting tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment.
