Warehouse Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversight of daily warehouse workflow
• Scheduling and organizing staff for proper shift staffing
• Hiring and training new warehouse employees
• Evaluating, coaching, and guiding employees as needed
• Maintaining and organizing warehouse equipment and space
• Collaboration and coordination with other departments for efficient operations
• Ensuring inventory control and conducting cycle counts
• Completing required management reports
• Coordination of warehouse maintenance activities
• Researching and presenting ideas to improve warehouse operations
• Ensuring compliance with safety policies

Requirements

• Four to five years of related warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in a construction-related industry
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with RFMS or similar enterprise software programs
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds and access all areas of the warehouse
