Warehouse Maintenance Associate /Utilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance to equipment and conveyor system.
• General maintenance, cleaning and preventative maintenance to include, but not limited to; sweeping and cleaning floors, collection and removal of garbage, and dusting.
• Restock restroom supplies / toiletries as needed.
• While following safety procedures, ensure all cleaning materials are kept in well-marked, ventilated area.
• Paint as needed.
• Prep batteries daily.
• Operate powered equipment such as; a forklift and scrubber.
• Change light fixtures in warehouse and offices as needed.
• Other duties and special projects as requested.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
• Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed.
• Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to carry, lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• The associate is required to sit.
• The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb.
• While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
• The associate is also exposed to outside weather conditions.
• The associate is also exposed to noise levels in the work environment that are typically low to moderate.
