Warehouse Machine Operator (MON-FRI)

About The Role

The Machine Operator will be responsible for retrieving inventory from both floor locations and up-stock storage for Product Transfers and deliver to the designated area for stocking or shipment. The Restock Driver is required to operate machinery following all safety rules and regulations. NOTE: As a seasonal hire you have a defined employment time period of 90 days from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment needed to perform primary role i.e; Forklift, Cherry Picker, Reach Truck, Stock Chaser (Cart), Pallet jack, Scanners, Tablets and Company WMS.
• Perform and complete daily safety inspection check list for all equipment used.
• Maintain productivity minimum requirements CPH, and work with a sense of urgency
• Retrieve inventory from up-stock and floor locations and deliver to designated areas
• Operate barcode scanner and use warehouse software
• Act professionally and remain focused while working
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• Follow directions of leadership
• Perform cleaning activities as required
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and speak English
• Must have reliable transportation
• Ability to follow detailed instructions
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery - Forklift/Cherry Picker Driver Experience
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Ability to work independently without close supervision
• Responsible for any additional duties assigned
• Physical demands: stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift; frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling items up to 50 lbs; moderate hand-eye coordination, near/far/color/peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus, hearing.
• Working environment: performed entirely in warehouse (warm to cool), around machines with moderate noise; high-volume, high-demand environment; must meet strenuous customer deadlines; able to change priorities or job duties as needed; interact with employees at all levels.

Pay

$20.60 per hour

Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm, Full-Time, Onsite in Fort Worth, TX
