Warehouse Loan Operations Associate
Position Summary
Guggenheim Asset-Backed Finance Company is seeking an experienced Warehouse Loan Operations Associate to support critical warehouse lending functions within Structured Products. This role focuses on operational execution and day-to-day transaction support, managing loan closing processes, agent relationships, and transaction workflows under the direction of senior team members. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with strong technical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
About the Role
This role supports critical warehouse lending functions within Structured Products. Key responsibilities include executing loan closing processes and settlement activities, processing and validating draw requests, coordinating with legal counsel on borrowing conditions precedent, supporting loan settlement funding and reconciliation, managing trade settlement flows, platform reconciliations, and remediation of breaks. The role also involves coordinating with Administrative Agents on reporting requirements and portfolio performance data, working with Paying Agents to process waterfall distributions and ensuring transaction document compliance, assisting in resolving agent-related issues and discrepancies, and collaborating with outsource services and customers. Additionally, the role involves administering loan system data and maintaining accurate records, executing complex wire instructions and payment waterfalls, preparing investor reporting and compliance documentation, helping maintain and document operational procedures, drafting confidentiality agreements as needed, and partnering with Warehouse Origination, Portfolio Management, Ops/Treasury, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business Operational teams. The role also involves reconciling and processing third-party invoicing.
Essential Job Functions
Execute loan closing processes and settlement activities
Process and validate draw requests, including borrowing base calculations and covenant compliance
Cook with legal counsel on borrowing conditions precedent
Support loan settlement funding and reconciliation
Manage trade settlement flows, platform reconciliations, and remediation of breaks
Cook with Administrative Agents on reporting requirements and portfolio performance data
Work with Paying Agents to process waterfall distributions and ensure transaction document compliance
Assist in resolving agent-related issues and discrepancies, escalating to senior team member as needed
Collaborate with outsource services and customers
Administer loan system data and maintain accurate records
Execute complex wire instructions and payment waterfalls
Prepare investor reporting and compliance documentation
Help maintain and document operational procedures
Draft confidentiality agreements as needed
Partner with Warehouse Origination, Portfolio Management, Ops/Treasury, Finance, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Business Operational teams
Reconcile and process third-party invoicing
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required
3-5 years of hands-on experience in loan closing and structured finance operations
Proven track record in warehouse lending or asset-backed finance
Technical Skills
Understanding of structured finance mechanics, borrowing base structures, and waterfall calculations
Proficiency with ClearPar or comparable loan management system
Expert-level Microsoft Excel and Access skills
Basic familiarity with Bloomberg terminal (preferred)

Work Location
Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office at least 4 days per week.
Pay
Annual base salary between $130,000 - $150,000. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
