About the role
Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Loading Supervisor to join our team. We are jointly owned by Suntory and PepsiCo, and we make, sell, and distribute PepsiCo and more beverages. We have the exclusive rights to make, sell, and distribute directly to stores in our territory the world-renowned PepsiCo and Keurig Dr. Pepper beverages.
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day direction to warehouse employees.
- Completes shipping and handling documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Performs inventory reconciliation.
- Performs housekeeping duties.
- Safeguards the team by ensuring adequate staffing, management, and training.
- Loads orders in an accurate, timely manner.
- Ensures timely service to sales department while minimizing warehouse and production costs.
- Maintains performance tracking information.
- Oversees all operations in the warehouse, including Sales Loading, Vertique Operations, Transport Loading, all inventories, and Facility Safety and Security across all shifts and all days (24/7).
- Oversees warehouse operations, including managing and training direct reports.
- Manages and trains direct reports.
- Ensures compliance with safety and security protocols.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Three (3) years supervisory experience in warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing is preferred.
- SAP experience is preferred.
- Forklift operation experience is preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to supervise and provide training to direct reports.
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Must have attention to detail.
- Must have good math skills.
- Must be able to perform data entry.
- Must work long hours during summer months as well as some weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Qualifications
