Responsibilities
- People and Team Development:
- Interview, hire, and coordinate training for all warehouse team members responsible for receiving product, moving inventory, and preparing customer orders.
- Develop a cohesive and empowered team of 30–40 employees with the technical and problem-solving skills to execute daily tasks efficiently through SOPs Playbook action plans and floor presence.
- Manage all day-to-day people issues such as crewing, safety, and specific employee concerns; provide coaching and administer corrective action as needed.
- In-depth Hourly Labor Performance Management:
- Manage picker performance using multiple systems, providing real-time feedback and removing obstacles to improve performance.
- Conduct pre-shift and mid-shift meetings to gauge team morale and motivate employees.
- Lead Flight Plan Reviews to drive the team toward period and quarterly goals.
- Site Management:
- Meet cost parameters and execute service targets by managing direct (labor efficiency and accuracy) and indirect expenses (supplies, utilities).
- Support the frontline team in achieving Dynamic Standards Labor expectations.
- Ensure site regulatory compliance with OSHA, DOT, FDA, and EPA.
- Manage warehouse space for inventory and safety, adhering to the site 5S plan, with special attention to pallets and product on 2nd and 3rd tiers.
- Facilitate and execute annual site acceleration to continuously improve efficiency and productivity.
- Customer Service:
- Serve as a liaison with manufacturing and suppliers.
- Work daily with Route Sales Representatives (RSRs) to address product and customer issues.
- Execute product planning and ordering to ensure availability without overages, limit compliance and adjustment issues, and ensure accurate packing.
- Lead the Value in Planning (VIP) process with Sales partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1–8 years’ experience utilizing a team-based approach to decision-making.
- Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
- Strong people and leadership skills with a track record of achieving positive business results.
Schedule
Day shift: 09:00 a.m. – 06:00 p.m., Sunday – Thursday.
Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $80,700 – $135,100. Location, job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting the actual starting salary. Bonus target payout is 8% of annual salary, paid out annually based on performance and eligibility.
