About the role

The Frontline Coordinator assists the Team Lead with ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining oversight of all associates' work according to their function and assisting with training new hires.
  • Coordinating and managing associate breaks/lunches.
  • Overseeing the timely and proper placement of items in inventories.
  • Communicating with production personnel regarding product availability, aging issues, and selective product usage.
  • Verifying in transit numbers from the Transportation Department, investigating major discrepancies, and reporting to the Supervisor.
  • Filling in for Team Lead and associates as needed.
  • Communicating with drivers (in-house and outside carriers) and reporting and communicating with Dispatch on load status as needed.
  • Completing required operational departmental forms.
  • Observing and ensuring associates are selecting/picking/rotating according to schedule and reviewing all paperwork to ensure it has been filled out correctly.
  • Assigning work orders.
  • Performing routine cycle counts.
  • Following all GMP/PPE and Safety guidelines and food safety and food quality programs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of GMP’s & Safety Guidelines.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Two years of stand-up forklift experience (a must).
  • Comprehension of basic math and good computer skills.
  • Team player and ability to multitask.
  • Able to work in a cold environment.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as production, quality, and safety.

Qualifications

  • Reading, Writing, Speaking English preferred.
  • GED/High School Diploma.

Skills

  • Knowledge of GMP’s & Safety Guidelines.
