About the role
The Distribution Lead position is located in Braselton, GA. You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will:
- Share business information through floor presence
- Work well with other department Leads/Operations Managers in assisting and trading resources when necessary
- Suggest improvements to current techniques
- Train and direct a team of associates to achieve departmental production goals in order to provide customers with the ultimate delivery experience
- Control the workflow on the floor to include prioritizing team goals to ensure that deadlines are met
- Track productivity, research and resolve issues, provide feedback on productivity and quality related performance
Responsibilities
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- At Least 1 year in a leadership role
- At least 1 year of forklift driving experience with Order Picker (OP), Reach Truck (RT), and Dock Stocker (DS)
- This is an onsite and in office role
- Have basic knowledge of Receiving, Replenishment, Picking, Shipping, Inventory Control, Profiling, and Waving
- Have working knowledge of Excel, Pick Ticket Management System (PKMS), Radio Frequency Scanner (RF Scanner), and AS400
- Able to multi-task and be extremely detailed on all written and verbal communications/documentations
- Have Intermediate knowledge of basic math (addition and subtraction)
- Able to take initiative and work with minimal direction
- Able to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
Requirements
- Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders
- Able to lift up to 75lbs
- Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day
- Comfortable elevating on an Order Picker (OP) 35 ft
Qualifications
