Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Affixes daily tasks to the daily delivery schedule under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager, adjusting plans as necessary and organizing the next day's schedule.
- Presents paperwork at the beginning of the shift, segregates and distributes according to the delivery routes.
- Serves as the primary liaison for all first shift employees regarding issues related to employee relations, training, safety, and general inquiries, escalating concerns to the Warehouse Manager.
- Enhances departmental efficiency and cost-saving opportunities through strategic planning and time management, offering insights into performance and embodying the company's core values.
- Participates in new hire training and other specialized training sessions.
- Verifies returns into the warehouse with the warehouse staff.
- Maintains a secure and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personnel; promptly reports any injuries, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), adheres to the emergency action plan, ensures food safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
- Ensures the provision of food-safe, high-quality products that meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new software and systems.
- Experience working in ERP or warehouse management systems.
- An organized approach with a keen eye for detail.
- The capacity to collaborate effectively within a team.
- The capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
