Warehouse Lead

About the role

Joining The Prism Specialties Team provides an opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment where you can help restore items that matter to people. The role involves leading packout crews, managing inventory, and assisting with on-site packouts during disasters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise packout and delivery crews on residential and commercial jobs
• Aid in and coordinate on-site packouts of contents from locations affected by losses such as fire, flood, or other disasters
• Maintain accurate inventory control and warehouse management using company systems
• Organize staging, storage, loading, and delivery of restored contents
• Support team members with related tasks and help train new crew members as needed

Requirements

• Prior warehouse, moving, or packout experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
• Comfortable working in non-climate controlled conditions and post-peril environments
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and able to drive a box truck
• Pass a drug screening and background check

Qualifications

• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds repeatedly
• Available for occasional after-hours, weekend, or overtime work as needed
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing training
• Cooperate with supervisors and teammates and complete assigned duties
• Maintain high quality standards and a customer-service-focused attitude
• Properly operate and care for company vehicles and equipment
• Accurately document work and protect customer information
• Gain experience across textiles, electronics, art, and packouts as the business grows
• Follow all company safety policies and the employee handbook
