Warehouse Lead

Job Responsibilities

• Aid in scheduling and oversee daily assignments to maintain quality control and maximize team productivity.
• Lead and assist in the storage and handling of production materials that have been received or need to be shipped.
• Cover and coach safety working practices, observe workers to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations, and maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace.
• Train others, analyze or resolve work problems, establish or adjust work procedures to meet deadlines, and supervise all warehouse activities including truck loading/unloading, moving bin locations, bin maintenance, and restocking.
• Verify in-stock positions on products for sales staff and assist in monitoring inventory levels.
• Perform warehouse activities such as parts pulling, staging, and loading/stocking of trucks.
• Assist in supporting supervisors, coaching team members, and acting as a liaison between supervisors and staff for efficient information delivery.
• Manage warehouse personnel in the absence of the Warehouse Manager and General Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (medical DOT certification may be required to operate certain vehicles).
• Previous delivery driving experience, preferably handling fragile materials.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn how to use warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading, securing, and delivering products.
• Basic computer skills for route navigation and delivery documentation.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and workplace regulations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
