Responsibilities

• Oversee staff and ensure daily tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Verify and maintain records on all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Ensure an accurate inventory by following policy and procedures.
• Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
• Inspect incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
• Examine outgoing shipments to ensure they are correct and meet specifications.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Assign and perform daily cycle counts to guarantee an accurate and consistent inventory.
• Support the team when required—assemble hoses to meet customer/stocking needs.
• Project a positive company image by interacting with fellow employees, customers, and management in a cooperative, supportive, and courteous manner.
• Display a professional attitude while complying with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise warehouse staff and monitor performance on assigned daily tasks.
• Maintain office functions including filing, billing, and matching receiving paperwork.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, General Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in shipping and receiving.
• 1–3 years of experience in general warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of safe warehouse practices and systems.

Pay

Estimated hourly pay range: $25 – $33 USD (United States applicants). Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
