Warehouse Lead

Duties

• Plan staffing needs by communicating with supervisor to align headcount to labor needs for the day.
• Use WMS data to improve operational efficiency and troubleshoot problems.
• Maintain documentation in line with shipping and receiving SOPs, including but not limited to vendor/driver logs, receiving documents, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide feedback to supervisor regarding performance of subordinates.
• Aid supervisor in training and development of new associates.
• Responsible for opening or closing the facility daily.
• Perform the duties of supervisor on a limited basis.

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in a warehousing environment.
• At least two years of warehousing experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• PREFERRED: WMS, and RF technology experience.
• PREFERRED: SAP experience.
