Warehouse Lead

About the role

The Lead Manufacturing Engineer at FOX Factory is responsible for leading and motivating the team to ensure quality performance, cost parameters, accuracy, and speed. They are also responsible for arranging daily team meetings to focus on smooth workflow and timely delivery, training new workers on department processes and operation of specific equipment, resolving operational or manufacturing problems, ensuring daily preventative maintenance takes place, and facilitating problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assigns, and coordinates workload across the team
• Maintains continuity between work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
• Solves operational or manufacturing problems
• Ensures daily preventative maintenance takes place
• Trains new workers as required
• Ensures compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards
• Facilitates problem solving

Requirements

• Leadership skills
• Knowledge of machinery and software necessary for quality job performance

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required

Physical Requirements

• Warehouse environment
• Requires walking, standing, bending, and lifting for long periods of time
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. on regular basis
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $20.50 - $27.51 per hour, depending on location.
