Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, storing and issuing inventory.
- Maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related reports.
- Serve as a lead over one or more warehousepersons.
- Train and provide work direction and guidance to warehouse staff.
- Make recommendations regarding proper storage, inventory and warehousing procedures and improvements in warehouse efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Warehouse experience with leading teams, setting goals and conducting annual performance reviews.
- Understanding of the basic computer flow transactions – receiving, locator maintenance, shipping documents, etc.
- Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work in a team environment.
- Maintain inventory and service levels to meet all customer requirements.
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment.
