Warehouse Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee and participate in the shipping, receiving, storing and issuing inventory.
• Maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related reports.
• Serve as a lead over one or more warehousepersons.
• Train and provide work direction and guidance to warehouse staff.
• Make recommendations regarding proper storage, inventory and warehousing procedures and improvements in warehouse efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience with leading teams, setting goals and conducting annual performance reviews.
• Understanding of the basic computer flow transactions – receiving, locator maintenance, shipping documents, etc.
• Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work in a team environment.
• Maintain inventory and service levels to meet all customer requirements.
• Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment.
