Warehouse Lead

About the role

Ensure accurate and timely receipt of raw goods
Define and implement receiving and shipping process, improve material flow in the plant
Controls inventory levels by conducting cycle counts and reconciling with warehouse team
Coordinates/organizes staging and shipping of products
Analyzes root cause for inventory discrepancy and develops corrective action plan to resolve defined issue
Supports training of any new warehouse employees or other employees interacting with warehouse
Identifies and finds new opportunities to improve safety and inventory control procedures
Maintains and updates key performance indicators

Responsibilities

• Supports training of any new warehouse employees or other employees interacting with warehouse

• Maintains and updates key performance indicators

Requirements

• Demonstrated commitment to achieving the organization's goals and objectives
• Ability to think strategically and interact with all levels of the organization
• Problem Solver with the ability to innovate and improve processes
• High ethical standards
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Experience with ERP software strongly desired
• At least 3 years experience with progressive responsibility in warehouse role
• Experience managing others is a plus
• Forklift Certification strongly desired
