About the role
The Warehouse Lead position at Convergint is a full-time, enthusiastic, results-driven, and forward-thinking role. The successful candidate will administer and operate the organization's warehouses, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, processing, packaging, storing, and ordering of tools, supplies, materials, and equipment. They will also be responsible for receiving and shipping parts in an efficient manner, providing project and service support to field colleagues, and supporting office colleagues as needed.
Responsibilities
- Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, ensuring efficient shipping, receiving, processing, packaging, storing, and ordering of tools, supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Receives and ships parts in an efficient manner.
- Provides project and service support to field colleagues and supports office colleagues as needed.
- Supports fleet and facilities management programs.
- Leads, mentors, and coaches less-experienced staff.
Requirements
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook skills and ability to implement D365 applications.
- Strong customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience.
- Minimum Experience: 3 years relevant warehousing or shipping/receiving.
- Preferred Experience: Additional specialized training, experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation, previous lead experience.
Skills
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook skills.
- Technical knowledge, skills, and experience.
- Mentoring and training less experienced staff.
