Warehouse Lead

About the role

This is the next step in an associate's path to management. You will learn all aspects of receiving / unloading or loading operations within a warehouse facility, working alone or in teams with minimal supervision. You will work with a high level of direct contact with customer's staff and outside delivery personnel; emphasis is placed on the ability to relate in a positive, friendly manner. You will oversee a specified area within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations. You will handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry 25-75lbs, materials handled vary
• Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Oversee a specified area within the work environment to maintain consistent workflow and meet customer expectations
• Handle the movement of pallets and cases on and off trailers and other vehicles by using a forklift, pallet jack or by hand

Requirements

• A high-energy individual with a strong work ethic
• The work is fast paced and very physical

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior warehouse and/or equipment experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

$23.50 / Hourly

12:00pm-Finish (Some OT required weekly)
