Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activity for assigned area, ensuring all targets and safety standards are met
- Provide guidance and direction to associates on day-to-day workflow; assume supervisor responsibilities in their absence
- Train employees and temporary staff on standard operating procedures
- Communicate customer concerns and operational issues to direct supervisor/manager in a timely manner
- Assist with maintaining accurate physical inventories and ensure the warehouse remains neat, secure, and organized
- Recommend and implement process improvements for assigned operational areas
- Lead or participate in startup meetings for assigned areas of responsibility
- Perform warehouse associate duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED strongly preferred
- Powered industrial equipment experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and policies and procedures
- Working knowledge of Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and warehouse management systems preferred
- Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred)
- Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Pay
$20.50/hour
Schedule
7:00 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday – Friday
