Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activity for assigned area, ensuring all targets and safety standards are met
• Provide guidance and direction to associates on day-to-day workflow; assume supervisor responsibilities in their absence
• Train employees and temporary staff on standard operating procedures
• Communicate customer concerns and operational issues to direct supervisor/manager in a timely manner
• Assist with maintaining accurate physical inventories and ensure the warehouse remains neat, secure, and organized
• Recommend and implement process improvements for assigned operational areas
• Lead or participate in startup meetings for assigned areas of responsibility
• Perform warehouse associate duties as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED strongly preferred
• Powered industrial equipment experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and warehouse management systems preferred
• Ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred)
• Ability to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Pay

$20.50/hour

Schedule

7:00 AM – 3:45 PM, Monday – Friday
