Warehouse Lead

About the Role

The Warehouse Lead will make deliveries and also assist in the warehouse. This new addition to the team will be responsible for all aspects of an efficient workflow within driving and warehouse environments, representing Automation‑X in a professional manner with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles while maintaining a clean driving record.
• Receive and verify accuracy of shipments from vendors and other warehouses.
• Label all stock with the appropriate AX 5‑code.
• Notify appropriate parties when requested stock arrives.
• Help organize and maintain inventory on‑site and off‑site as needed.
• Deliver supplies to production sites, ensuring proper material is delivered on time, safely, and according to customer policies.
• Review packing lists/orders with customers for accuracy, obtain signatures and customer stamps during deliveries.
• Process transfer orders and sales order fulfillments daily.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and work with the team to resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the warehouse.
• Remain deliberate in hectic or chaotic environments.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Load and unload material on trucks using handling equipment when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Management experience required.
• Warehousing experience required.
• Ability to pull a bumper‑pull and gooseneck trailer.
• Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with ERP systems.
• Typing speed of at least 50–60 words per minute.

Preferred Skills and Abilities

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP software.
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry a plus.
• Forklift driving experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated integrity, strong work ethic, and dedication to results.
• Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Accountable and willing to take complete ownership of work.
• Ability to learn, adapt, and grow.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This is a warehouse position requiring the ability to lift at least 70 lbs. Travel is not required.
