Warehouse Lead (2nd Shift) Mon - Friday 4pm - 12am

About the role

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for coaching and training warehouse associates, fulfilling their tasks, and providing backup to the supervisor. Responsibilities may include shipping/receiving, packaging, inventory control, general warehouse functions, or material handling operations.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct EIP, performance, and maintenance observations.
• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Complete applicable paperwork per standard operating procedures and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure facility is inspection ready.
• Communicate and report any incidents to supervisor.
• Review and analyze daily production reports.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles, as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• Minimum 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
