Warehouse Lead 2nd shift

About the role

As the 2nd Shift Warehouse Lead, you will oversee daily warehouse activities to meet or exceed performance expectations set by the Warehouse Manager. This role involves coordinating personnel, ensuring productivity, and maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse associates to ensure productivity, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Enforce safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, manlifts, and electric pallet jacks.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, picking, loading, and unloading of products.
• Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and safe.
• Monitor employee attendance, timekeeping, and performance; provide coaching as needed.
• Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
• Complete required reports, communications, and administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Previous warehouse experience; forklift or man lift (cherry picker) operation preferred.
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.
• Must obtain forklift and manlift certification within 3 months.
• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level and not afraid of heights.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Pay

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Stable 5-day work week (~40 hours). Sunday - Thursday, 12:00pm - 9:00pm (start/end times may vary based on coverage and business needs).
