About the role
As the Warehouse Lead, you are responsible for the overall safety, productivity, and efficiency of employees within your assigned area(s) during the shift. You will oversee employees, monitor workflow, and help lead the culture to provide Core-Mark customers with superior service and quality. A successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to supervise, lead, and communicate effectively with multiple warehouse employees, strong attention to detail, dedication to safety, and drive to deliver quality work.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor and employees at the start and throughout each shift.
- Ensure consistent practices and policies are followed.
- Foster morale and encourage teamwork, pride, and quality performance.
- Monitor supplies levels at stations for start of shift and direct replenishment efforts.
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition.
- Lead a safe work environment, handle reports, and communicate situations in a timely manner.
- Ensure employees have received proper training and arrange for training as needed.
- Monitor the security of assigned area.
- Perform all tasks in compliance with safety policies and practices.
- Communicate with Warehouse Supervisor on progress and completion of assigned shift duties.
- Maintain records of materials and items received/distributed.
- Fulfill paperwork for assigned area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of warehouse and/or distribution environment experience.
- Able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
- Able to work in a multi-temperature environment (dry, cooler, freezer).
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
- Able to lift and stack product between 10–35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift.
- Pass pre-employment drug test.
- Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
$22.50 per hour.
Schedule
- Work week: Sunday – Thursday.
- Hours: 2:30 PM – until finished.
