Warehouse Lead - 2:30pm - 11pm

Essential Responsibilities

• Aid the Warehouse Manager in overseeing Warehouse Associates to ensure adherence to warehouse plans, procedures, safety practices, and operational standards.
• Lead the assigned shift through daily meetings, Gemba walks, and provide plant support.
• Collaborate with the production shift supervisor to facilitate smooth operations and effective communication between warehouse and production staff.
• Unload trucks, verify paperwork accuracy, and provide correct documentation to customer service.
• Operate forklifts and bulk truck loaders.
• Sort and place materials in designated inventory locations according to instructions.
• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customers.
• Mark materials with necessary identification using appropriate methods.
• Unpackage and unpack bales, crates, and other containers.
• Record material transfers using an appropriate computer program.
• Assist in physical inventory counts.
• Perform general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of processing areas, including hands-on cleaning and coordination with other departments.
