Warehouse Laborer

Job Description Working under general supervision, perform a variety of tasks; receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise or materials; operate lift equipment; fill requisitions and orders; pack, crate, and ship materials as needed; and keeping a clean and safe work environment. Job Responsibilities Responsible for all tasks related to the receiving, issuing, and shipping of parts and materials. Perform various material handling duties at site.Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.Remove strapping and open crates and containers.Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area while following 5S Standards.Operate forklift routinely.Punctuality and regular attendance is required.Meet or exceed established performance expectations set by management.Compliance with all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, safety, confidentiality, and environmental policies.Possession of a valid driver’s license issued by the state.Work safely in all areas; identify potential safety hazards and work with management to correct them.Work without significant risk of harm to self and others.Perform other duties as required. Qualifications And Skill Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 2-3 years of warehouse or inventory control experience preferred; experience with heavy equipment with material handling and distribution preferred.Basic knowledge of JDE or similar ERP system is preferred.Basic knowledge of shipping in addition to warehouse procedures and regulations preferred.Previous knowledge of mining equipment and parts preferred.Candidates with a commitment to excellent customer service are encouraged to apply.Must have solid verbal and written communication skills.Ability to analyze situations, make logical decisions, and choose best course of action.Thrives independently and contributes positivity to the team.Ability to function within the qualifications outlined in the attached physical demands sheets.Flexible availability for various shifts including shift work, overnights, over-time, holidays, and weekends.
