Warehouse Laborer

About the role

We are hiring a Warehouse Specialist to load, unload, receive, store, and distribute inventory. Our Warehouse team members play a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. If you are a reliable team player with a desire to work safely in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory, storing items in an orderly and accessible manner, while inspecting stock for wear or defects and reporting to supervision.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs. during physical loading/unloading of trucks.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours to perform job-related tasks.
• Perform any other duty, task, or responsibility as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• If operating a vehicle for Company purposes, a valid driver’s license will be required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

This is a safety-sensitive position.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on specific job duties.

Travel Requirements: Local travel less than 10%.

Pay

Compensation range: $13.00 - $30.00 per hour. Actual offers depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, and market data. This position may also offer variable compensation.
