Responsibilities

• Ability to lead a team in a complex, task-oriented cleaning operations environment
• Provides direct support to the Maintenance Operations Center Team and KBS Field Operations Team by responding efficiently, timely, and accurately to all escalations
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, break rooms, and other work areas as needed
• Follows the cleaning supervisor task process flowchart
• Familiar with call support, working directly or splitting shifts between the team and leading the shift by successfully covering daily operations schedules
• Provides feedback on ongoing activities and commits to implementing timely escalation reporting procedures to the KBS management team

Requirements

• 1+ years in a leadership/supervisory role
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions
• Customer service-oriented with a friendly and positive attitude, with the ability to motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safe handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may have them in Spanish when required by state)
• Must successfully pass KBS background check / drug test

Starting pay: $12 per hour. Progressive Pay is available in some locations, though not offered everywhere. Employees will receive a $0.50 increase after the first 90 days and another $0.30 increase after completing 180 days. Check today to see if it is available for you.

KBS uses the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software to accurately record employee work hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out of shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local legislation, reimbursement for cell phone use is offered to support the use of personal devices for work tasks.
