About the role

Warehouse Janitorial Associate at Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) – full‑time, permanent position located at 2712 W Main St, Waynesboro, VA 22980-1618. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and safety in warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash
• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Cleaning totes and other items
• Performing deep cleaning as needed
• Following all safety and quality standards
• Performing other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10‑12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe‑handling chemical sheets (generally in English; may be in Spanish where state‑required)
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
• Must download and use the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping app on a personal device for clocking in/out; cell‑phone reimbursement provided per local law

Pay

Starting pay: $17.00 per hour (range $17.00‑$18.00 per hour). Progressive pay increases: $0.50 after the first 90 days and an additional $0.30 after completing 180 days, where offered.

Schedule

Work schedule: days/nights vary, including weekends. Available shifts:

• Sunday‑Thursday: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Tuesday‑Saturday: 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
• Sunday‑Wednesday: 8:00 pm – 7:00 am
