Warehouse Janitorial Associate

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has immediate full-time and permanent openings to join our warehouse cleaning team.

Responsibilities

Our warehouse cleaning/janitorial positions perform the following tasks within designated work areas, as assigned at the start of each shift:

• Clean bathrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, and take out trash
• Ensure all aisles are clean and orderly at all times
• Clean bags and other items
• Some deep cleaning, as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Other basic cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds
• Walk in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety standards, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safe handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish when required by state)
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (pedals), manual (chopping, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist movement (repetitive bending/rotation)

Schedule

• Workdays and nights vary, including weekends
• Available shift: 6am–5pm Thursday through Sunday

Pay

• Starting pay: $17.00 per hour
• Step pay available in some locations: $0.50 increase after first 90 days, and another $0.30 after completing 180 days (check availability in your area)
