Warehouse Janitorial Associate

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has immediate full-time and permanent vacancies for our warehouse cleaning team. We help industry leaders across retail, industrial and logistics, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more maintain clean, efficient, and welcoming spaces. Schedule

• Days and nights vary, including weekends
• SUN - WED 6:00 AM TO 5:00 PM
• SUN - WED 6:00 PM TO 5:00 AM
• WED - SAT 6:00 PM TO 5:00 AM

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, and take out trash
• Ensure all aisles are clean and orderly at all times
• Clean bags and other items
• Some deep cleaning as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Other basic cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds
• Walk inside and around facilities with great frequency throughout the shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10 to 12 hours
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety standards, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe chemical handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish when required by state law)
• Proficiency in eye/hand coordination, foot (pedals), manual (chopping, pinching, gripping, grasping), and wrist movement (repetitive flexion/rotation)

Tools

KBS uses the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software to accurately record employee work hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out of shifts and breaks. Reimbursement for cell phone use is offered in accordance with applicable local law.
