About the Role

This position involves performing various janitorial tasks within designated work areas, including cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), office areas, sweeping, mopping, dusting, removing trash, ensuring walkways are clean and tidy, and some deep cleaning as needed. Duties also include following safety and quality standards and performing other basic janitorial duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Cleaning totes and other items
• Some deep cleaning, as needed
• Following all safety and quality standards
• Performing other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)

Qualifications

Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required).

Pay

$17.00 per hour

Schedule

Shifts available: 5:00 pm - 4:00 am and 6:00 pm - 5:00 am. Work schedule varies, including weekends.
