Warehouse Janitorial Associate

About the role

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) has immediate full-time and permanent openings for Warehouse Cleaning Associates. KBS is the largest private provider of facility services in North America, helping industry leaders across retail, industrial and logistics, healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more maintain clean, efficient, and welcoming spaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, and take out trash
• Ensure all aisles are clean and orderly at all times
• Clean bags and other items
• Perform some deep cleaning as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Perform other basic cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds
• Walk inside and around facilities frequently throughout the shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safety handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish where required by state)
• Coordination dexterity: eye/hand, feet (pedals), manual (chopping, pinching, grasping), and wrist movement (repetitive flexion/rotation)

Schedule & Pay

• Shift times vary, including weekends
• Available shifts: 5:00am–3:30pm (4 positions) and 7:00pm–5:30am (7 positions)
• Starting pay: $19.00 per hour
• Progressive Pay available at some locations: $0.50 increase after first 90 days, $0.30 increase after 180 days

Additional requirements

KBS uses KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate time tracking, attendance management, required training, and distributing important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out of shifts and breaks. Reimbursement for cell phone use is offered in accordance with applicable local law.
