Responsibilities

Our warehouse cleaning/janitorial positions perform the following tasks within designated work areas, as assigned at the start of each shift:

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and taking out trash
• Ensure all aisles are clean and orderly at all times
• Cleaning bags and other items
• Some deep cleaning, as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Other basic cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds
• Walk in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10 to 12 hours
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safe handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish when required by state law)
• Proficiency in eye/hand coordination, feet (pedals), manual (chopping, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist movement (repetitive bending/rotation)

Schedule

• Days and nights vary, including weekends
• Available shift: 7pm–6am, Sunday to Thursday

Pay

Starting pay: $15 per hour

Progressive Pay is available in some locations, though not offered everywhere. Employees will receive a $0.50 increase after the first 90 days and another $0.30 after completing 180 days. Check today if it is available for you.

KBS uses the KBSPresence mobile time-tracking software to accurately record employee work hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out of their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local law, reimbursement for cell phone use is offered to support the use of personal devices for work tasks.
