Schedule

• Days and nights vary, including weekends
• Shift availability: 1:00pm–9:30pm; 9:00pm–5:30am
• Starting pay: $16.90 per hour

Responsibilities

Our warehouse cleaning/janitorial positions perform the following tasks within designated work areas, as assigned at the start of each shift:

• Clean restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweep, mop, dust, and take out trash
• Ensure all aisles are clean and orderly at all times
• Clean bags and other items
• Some deep cleaning as needed
• Follow all safety and quality standards
• Other basic cleaning tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move containers up to 49 pounds
• Walk within and around the facility frequently throughout the entire shift
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours
• Background check and drug test required
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety standards, operation and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safe handling sheets/documents (generally in English; may be in Spanish when required by state law)
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (pedals), manual (chopping, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist movement (repetitive flexion/rotation)

Skills

• KBS uses the KBSPresence mobile time-tracking software to accurately record employee work hours, manage attendance, complete required training, and distribute important job information. All non-exempt employees must download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out of shifts and breaks. Reimbursement for mobile phone use is offered in accordance with applicable local law.
