Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms, break areas (indoor/outdoor), and office areas
• Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and removing trash
• Ensuring all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
• Cleaning totes and other items
• Performing deep cleaning as needed
• Following all safety and quality standards
• Other basic janitorial duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
• Frequent walking in and around the facility throughout the entire shift
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 10–12 hours
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and chemical safety sheets (generally in English; Spanish where required)
• Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, manual tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and repetitive wrist motion
• Must download and use the KBSPresence mobile app on a personal device to clock in/out for shifts and breaks (cell-phone reimbursement provided where required by law)

Schedule

Days and nights vary, including weekends.

• Example shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM with Sunday and Monday off

Pay

Starting pay: $17.30 per hour.

• Progressive Pay: $0.50 increase after 90 days and $0.30 increase after 180 days (available at select locations only)
• Quick Pay: voluntary benefit allowing access to a portion of earned pay before the scheduled payday (available to both full-time and part-time hourly employees)
