Warehouse Inventory Support

An auxiliary role within the department, supporting tasks such as data management and customer assistance. Responsibilities may include data filing, data input, and assisting wholesale customers with order placement and billing error corrections.

Responsibilities

• Enter verifications into the system in a timely manner.
• Perform data entry, filing, and maintain strong communication skills.
• Follow all applicable safety and sanitation procedures.
• Deliver unparalleled customer service.
• Complete assignments such as cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy research promptly.
• Maintain tracking, reporting, and filing systems.
• Audit outbound orders and monitor drops to ensure customers receive the correct product.
• Handle all aspects of the reclamation area, including scanning, palletizing, and processing damages.
• Investigate damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
• Assist operations in monitoring voice selection to ensure drops/resets are completed for load departure.
• Coordinate training of new personnel and cross-training of current staff.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties and special projects.
• Work in temperatures ranging from -10 to -20 Fahrenheit.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience required.
• 1-2 years of clerical or general office work experience desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree desired.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Regional travel required (daily, less than 10% or 10-25%).
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for shifts, days, and overtime as needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay

Starting rate of pay: $16.00 per hour.
