Warehouse Inventory Supervisor
About the Role
Lead inventory control from cycle counting to FSQA releases, reporting, and team development in a fast-paced 24/7 warehouse operation.
Why This Role Matters
- Own inventory accuracy. Maintain inventory-control standards across cycle counting, co-pack receiving, and inter-plant STO shipping/receiving, with timely and accurate reporting.
- Solve the variance. Lead root-cause analysis and solutions for discrepancies, returns, rebox, damages, and disposal.
- Protect product flow. Ensure required FSQA releases are obtained before loading product and support order-fulfillment KPIs.
- Develop people. Lead hiring, training, recognition, accountability, evaluations, and development of team leaders and coordinators.
The Challenges You'll Tackle
- Inventory complexity. Balance cycle counts, co-pack receiving, inter-plant STO shipping/receiving, returns, damages, rebox, and disposal with clear tracking and accountability.
- Data-driven execution. Keep reports accurate and on time, respond to stakeholders, and use ERP/WMS data to drive decisions.
- 24/7 warehouse pace. Plan labor, support shift opening and closing, back up the Senior Manager, support daily warehouse supervision, and provide support to outbound operations as business needs require.
What Success Looks Like
First 90 days: Inventory-control standards and SOPs are current, understood, and consistently followed. Daily reporting, cycle counts, FSQA release checks, co-pack receiving, and inter-plant STO shipping/receiving processes are running efficiently and accurately.
Year 1: Inventory variances are addressed through documented root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions. Continuous-improvement initiatives strengthen inventory accuracy, compliance, product flow, and efficiency across inventory and support outbound operations.
