About the role
MyUS.com is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join the Warehouse Operations Team. The position involves performing cycle counts of packages stored in the facility using a handheld scanner, maintaining organization and cleanliness of packages, and ensuring safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate cycle counts of packages stored in the facility using a handheld scanner
- Navigate specific scanner tones and text instructions for special handling of packages
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of packages in designated zones
- Search for missing packages during inventory scanning
- Reprint damaged or missing labels for packages that cannot be properly scanned
- Maintain communication with supervisor regarding damaged racks or missing rack labels
- Attend all required training classes and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Absorb safety standards and comply with all company, local, state, and federal guidelines
- Educate and maintain a positive attitude towards customers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in loading dock, receiving, shipping, or package distribution departments
- Proficient in computer operating programs
- Proficiency with hand-held warehouse scanners

- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Effective oral and written communication
- Basic understanding of OSHA safety guidelines within 60 days of hire

Benefits
MyUS offers a competitive compensation package including a starting hourly rate of $17.50. Overtime may be required and can total up to 60 hours per week, with potential for extended shifts.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 5:30am-2:15pm, with the possibility of overtime and extended shifts as needed.
Pay
$17.50 per hour
