Responsibilities
- Warehouse Inventory Control: Review inventory of product, reconcile discrepancies, identify delivery shortages, and maintain records to minimize discrepancies. Operate material handling equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks while adhering to safety procedures.
- Warehouse Clerk: Confirm product accuracy, address discrepancies and damages, communicate with internal and external contacts, and operate material handling equipment while adhering to safety procedures.
Requirements
- Ability to perform and understand warehouse operations.
- Ability to work independently, think analytically, and solve problems using mathematical skills.
- Ability to use computers, including Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and learn WMS systems.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all team members to achieve successful customer outcomes.
- Inclusive approach with colleagues and customers to build strong relationships and foster collaboration.
- Ability and willingness to perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of the warehouse.
- Able to adopt safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.
- Ability to be trained and obtain certification to operate power material handling equipment, such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks.
- Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
- Full-time associates must be able to work additional hours and overtime based on business needs.
- Must have the ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand.
- Must wear safety composite work shoes.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ year of related experience in a warehouse environment, including MHE experience and ability to become certified.
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
