About the role

Silvus Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Clerk-I to manage day-to-day warehouse operations. This role reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and works Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Silvus Technologies Warehouse in Culver City.

Responsibilities

  • Verify information on packing slips against purchase orders and input data into the system.
  • Collaborate with buyers to address and resolve inventory discrepancies and issues.
  • Update and manage incoming and outgoing inspection logs, overseeing inventory in the inspection area.
  • Cookorate with buyers and production supervisor to issue materials and kits for production build requirements.
  • Retrieve accessories for sales orders, facilitate returns to suppliers, and manage outside processes.
  • Record all inventory transactions promptly and accurately in the system.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through weekly cycle counts and year-end physical inventory counts.
  • Maintain a well-organized warehouse environment, including clear bin labeling, tracking date codes, and adhering to the first-in, first-out (FIFO) practice.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of warehouse experience, preferably handling electronic components (printed circuit board assemblies, accessories, etc.).
  • Highly proficient in Google Suite and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment, meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, or U.S. Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.S. federal contracts.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility, reliability, and teamwork.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving tasks and responsibilities as the company grows or the warehouse needs change.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to safety protocols and practices within a warehouse environment.

Compensation

$23 - $25 / hourly. This pay range is NOT a guarantee. It is based on market research and peer data and will vary depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Working Conditions And Physical Requirements

  • Office environment.
  • Perform bending and reaching movements to place items on lower and higher shelves.
  • Kneel or squat to access lower shelves.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when receiving incoming part shipments.

Basic Requirements

  • High School diploma OR GED required.
